If You Don't Know...

Woah! It's been nearly a month since my last post! So busy adjusting to a new sched (7:30AM start = boo. 2PM end = YAY!), new classes, and juggling life in between it all...let's just say that I needed a bit of a break! Here's a few Internet goodies that I've found along the way...
  • I love, love, LOVE sushi, but I'm not sure if I could bring myself to consume these incredibly cute and beautifully crafted Hello Kitty sushi rolls.
  • I've really been trying to simplify my life this year - here are 42 ways to do just that!
  • Recently, I've discovered that my favorite meal of the day to cook is breakfast! Over the past few weekends, I've been on a huevos rancheros kick. Check out the healthy (and surprisingly good) recipe here.
  • While we're on the subject of food, I've been on a mad hunt for tomato-less sauce dishes. This easy Spaghetti alla Carbonara recipe seems to fit the bill!
  • I was fighting the e-book market for a while, but this article from New York Magazine reminds me that times are a-changin'...
  • I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Spring's really right around the corner! In the meantime, I'm going to pencil in some of these 10 Things to Do Outdoors from Time Out Mag. (Among my faves...rooftop films! Screenings start in May!)
  • Last but certainly not least, my bf and I finally made it to The Museum of the Moving Image and saw the ah-ma-zing Jim Henson exhibit, along with many, many other cool photographs, films and collections. Among them, an awesome quote from Kermit himself:
"Life’s like a movie, write your own ending.
Keep believing, keep pretending.
We've done just what we set out to do.
Thanks to the lovers, the dreamers, and you..."

Note To Self...

"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy.’
They told me I didn’t understand the assignment,
and I told them they didn’t understand life...”
